Baby Fish is now 2/3 baked!
Yep, sometime in December we are expecting our little one to arrive. We are SO, so excited and incredibly thankful!
And perhaps this helps to explain my lack of recipes lately. Because while we are so very grateful for this blessing, food just didn’t sound good for a long time.
All About Food…or Not All About Food
I’ve found new (healthier) ways to enjoy old comfort foods I hadn’t had in years…more about this later!
I’ve certainly been eating my share of carbohydrates, but I’ve also been found creative ways to get in protein and tried to make sure I was getting in my veggies, too.
I can’t wait to post more of a pregnancy update and information later.
A Time For Rest
For the most part this pregnancy has been super busy! We have been go, go, go and just finished moving a day or so ago. So, I’m currently taking a week off for some rest and relaxation. At the end of the week, I’m headed to a blogging conference and I’m sure I’ll come back inspired and ready to hit the road running. But for today, I wanted to take a break from the usual posts to fill you in on where I’ve been and what I’ve been up to.
One BIG thing I’ve learned from this so far is I must listen to my body. Even when it demands rest and I want to keep going.
